Strolled around Ginza in Tokyo, payed a visit to the house of Shiseido, walked in the Ginza Six mall…. At the Maison Margiela store I noticed that Martin Margiela’s tabi-boots are available for men too now, after being women’s exclusive for more than 25 years. What a joy this is! A little further I bought this pair of white traditional Japanese tabi, the blueprint for Margiela’s tabi, at ‘Okano’ store, masters in kimono-manufacture since 1897.
Walked back from the ‘blue sheet homeless camp’ near Yoyogi Parc and came across this boulder-menhir on my way to my room in Akihabara.

Kuierde door het Ginza district in Tokyo, bracht een bezoek aan het oude huis van Shiseido, wandelde binnen in Ginza Six shopping center…. In Maison Margiela merkte ik dat Martin Margiela’s tabi-boots nu ook beschikbaar zijn voor mannen nadat ze meer dan 25 jaar enkel voor vrouwen gemaakt werden. Daar werd ik heel blij van! Een beetje verder kocht ik dit paar witte traditionele Japanse tabi, de blueprint voor Margiela’s tabi, in ‘Okano’ store, meesters in kimono-vervaardiging sinds 1897.
Wandelde terug van het ‘blue sheet homeless camp’ vlakbij Yoyogi Park en kwam deze kei-menhir tegen op weg naar mijn kamer in Akihabara.
