The artist infiltrates four times in nature. Nature flews through her veins and settles under her skin. The colour on her skin is adjusted to the 4 season we have in Belgium: winter, spring, summer, autumn.
The tint of blue that the sky has on that specific period of the year-circle, is condensed on the skin of the artist. Marie Julia Bollansee uses 4 blue pigments: kobalt in winter, ceruleum in spring, indigo in summer and ultramarine in autumn.
The Impressionists studied the same setting in different lights or different seasons. They looked at it with their eyes and painted it. Marie Julia Bollansee goes into nature, into the same small biotope several times of the year-circle. And she becomes nature for a while.

De kunstenaar infiltreert vier keren in de natuur. De natuur stroomt door haar aders en nestelt zich onder haar huid. De kleur op haar huid evolueert met de 4 seizoenen die we in Belgie kennen: winter, lente, zomer, herfst. De blauwe tint die in de lucht overheerst, op dat bepaalde moment in de jaarcirkel, is gecondenseerd op de huid van de kunstenaar. Marie Julia Bollansee gebruikt 4 blauwpigmenten: kobalt in de winter, ceruleum in de lente, indigo in de zomer, ultramarijn in de herfst.
De Impressionisten bestudeerden eenzelfde biotoop op verschillende momenten, met verschillende lichtinvallen. Marie Julia Bollansee infiltreert in dezelfde kleine biotoop op verschillende momenten. Ze wordt natuur voor een tijdje.
