LES ANGES
7 sculptures , 1997, ceramics, each 600x 400x300
Almost nothing. All of them are humans, no mistake there, whereas they ‘re also plain cobble-stones or a circle of empty shells, rows of menhirs, mysterious mountains. Almost nothing, that’s what these forms are. An endless recurrence of black silhouettes. But in the apparent nothingness the oldest pieces of wisdom are kept; by means of this nothingness they are calling the things to come. Joseph Bollansée
