The ancient labyrinth in the Chartres Cathedral leads you inside along a single path.
The labyrinth I create here in Koga is one with many paths. There are paths that connect islands, paths that cross, a path along a ravine and there are paths that are dead ends.
You have to make choices as you walk through this labyrinth, which path do you take?
You will meet other people in this labyrinth. You can stay with them on a blue island.
When you walk the paths, who goes first? Who gives priority to the other person?
My mother helped me build this labyrinth. She knitted the paths in the sheep’s wool I spun. I lay twelve paths between four blue tarpaulin islands. And then I invite you to join the performance. I invite you to walk the paths of the labyrinth and/or stay for a while on the blue islands. You can stay in the labyrinth for as long or short a time as you like.
I ask you to go barefoot through the labyrinth.

Het historische labyrint in de kathedraal van Chartres leidt je naar binnen langs één enkel pad.
Het labyrint dat ik hier in Koga creëer is er een met vele paden. Er zijn paden die eilanden verbinden, paden die kruisen, een pad langsheen een ravijn en er zijn paden die dood lopen.
Je moet keuzes maken als je door dit labyrint loopt, welk pad neem je?
Je zult andere mensen ontmoeten in dit labyrint. Je kunt bij hen op een eiland verblijven.
Als je de paden gaat bewandelen, wie gaat er dan eerst? Wie geeft de ander voorrang?
Mijn moeder heeft me geholpen met de bouw van dit labyrint. Ze breide de paden in de schapenwol die ik spon. Ik leg twaalf paden tussen vier blauwe tarpaulin-eilanden. En dan nodig ik je uit om mee te doen aan de performance. Ik nodig je uit om de paden van het labyrint te bewandelen en/of een tijdje op de blauwe eilanden te blijven. Je kunt zo lang of kort in het labyrint blijven als je wilt.
Ik vraag je om blootsvoets door het labyrint te gaan.
