This fan is one of millions bringing refreshment to Mumbai’s living rooms. I mostly worked on the streets in Mumbai. I made my street-performance BOMBAY CONVERSATIONS in which I met beautiful and strong women all around the city. In one of the final days I hid myself for a few hours in my studio as the harshness and the hectic rhythm of the hot Maximum City affected me. And I switched on the fan.

Deze ventilator is één van de miljoenen die verfrissing brengen in de woonkamers van Mumbai. Ik werkte vooral op straat in Mumbai. Ik maakte er mijn straat-performance BOMBAY CONVERSATIONS waarvoor ik overal in de stad schitterende vrouwen ontmoette. Tijdens één van de laatste dagen schuilde ik enkele uren in mijn studio om de rauwheid en het hectische ritme van de hete Maximum City even te ontvluchten. En ik zette de fan aan.
